Mar. 6-7, 2009 Night of Artists The National Western Art Foundation or Briscoe Museum of San Antonio, Texas hasts this fabulous lineup of artists at its fixed price draw sale. Honored guest will be Clark Hulings on the 7th from 5:30 p.m. with the draw being later that evening. Each artist sends two to five pieces. American Women Artists has invited Bonnie to "Signature Status" in their prestigious organization. Bonnie will debut two pieces in their upcoming show at LeKae Gallery, 710 6 E. Main St., Scottsdale, AZ 85251. the show will run from December 6. 2007 thru January 6, 2008 with an opening reception December 6th.
Oil Painters of America has invited Bonnie to "SIGNATURE STATUS" in their prestigious organization. In order to attain this standing, an artist must be accepted into the annual national show three times before they can be eligible to apply for Signature status. Getting into the national show is extremely competitive as only about 200 pieces are juried in from the whole Nation each year. Bonnie's work entitled "Neighborhood Watch" captured the Zwei Tu Color Award the first year she got into the national Show in 2003!
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation has selected Bonnie's work entitled "The Honeymoon" as their Poster for 2007. Limited Edition prints of the piece will be available thru Windance Fine Art 801-423-3462. View the piece under the "limited edition" section on this website.
American Plains Artists have invited Conrad to join their organization as a Signature Member. Conrad garnered a "Best of Show" there in 2004 and an "Honorable Mention" in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
American Cowboy Magazine will feature Bonnie's image entitled "In Time for Christmas" 16 x 20" Oil in their December issue. The original will be for sale at the Mountain Oyster Club Show (information above) The piece wil also be available as Christmas cards sometime in November. Given by Barbara Riley, docent of Phoenix Art Museum and Phippen Fine Art Museum, to art collectors attending the Cowboy Artists of America Annual Show in Phoenix this past fall. Riley featured ten widely recognized contemporary women artists who portray Western themes. Bonnie was featured in this slide/lecture presentation.
